People & My Idea of Film

This is for those who like to read my thoughts. I haven't written anything in while so here it goes.
Another post about my thoughts here

Every once in awhile I like to bust out my film camera and the thrill I get from shooting is unique. It's intoxicating. Just wish it was cheaper to develop... The scanning process is relaxing yet strenuous (dust is your enemy) fellow photographers will know.

What I like about film is that it slows down the process of shooting, of seeing and feeling. You also have that counter consistently reminding you that your roll is almost up. There is no looking at the back of the camera to see how wicked your shot is. You're left with an uneasy feeling hoping either your shot turned out or the lab techs don't screw up (if your shooting color). If traditional black and white is your thing... as you and I know, you become very intimate with your work. Don't even get me started  about the darkroom, more like my home away from home. The smell of chemicals is welcoming and always on you. Making the invisible visible just like a magician. The blinding sensation from leaving the darkroom is something I cant get accustomed to but throughly enjoy haha.

Anyways some photos of people
